I am very pleased to share my new entry, “Game Transfer Phenomena: Technology-Mediated Transfer Experiences,” now published in The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Cyberpsychology.

A special thank you to the editors for their hard work and for the invitation:
Dr Chris Fullwood, Dr Lisa J. Orchard, Dr Dawn Branley-Bell, and Dr Vasilena Stefanova.

It is particularly meaningful to see GTP included in a major reference work in cyberpsychology.
What began as a research question during my Master’s research has evolved into a substantial research programme exploring how experiences with interactive technologies can extend beyond the screen and into everyday life.

I am grateful to everyone who has contributed to this journey of more than 15 years of research on Game Transfer Phenomena (GTP).

There is still much to learn about how technology-mediated experiences shape our perception, cognition, and behaviour.
